The 4th Floor Artists are 50+ artists working in studios located in a warehouse in Rockland, MA.
We got our name from the 4th floor spaces us artists rented from the Codman Company, a former shoe factory. Our studios are atelier-like spaces with high ceilings, great ambient light, and a bargain. In less than a decade, our community has flourished as other South Shore artists joined us.
Our artists include national, regional and local award winners. We exhibit work regularly as a group and individually. We maintain a non-profit association, 4th Floor Artist, Inc.
Our annual Open Studios, on the weekend prior to Thanksgiving, are always a hit with art lovers and buyers. See the calendar page for details and directions.
